Course aim:

The aim of this Patient Handling Training Course is to provide learners with the knowledge, skill and attitude to perform Patient Handling tasks safety.

It covers a range of topics in order to give the learner confidence to risk assess Patient Moving & Manual Handling tasks and perform these tasks within their workplace. This course is designed for healthcare workers who need to be trained to safely move and handle patients under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work 2005 and Manual Handling Regulations 1993 and 2007
